Stuart McCulloch is a qualified Chief Engineer who has achieved the position of Managing Director with Jebsens Ship Management and established Lothian Ship Management. His responsibilities included strategic development and growth of the ship management and the maintenance of technical standards, shipboard safety, ships budgets and manning.
Between April 2002 and April 2003 Stuart was Operations Director involved with the setting up of North Link Ferries. In 2003 he established Maritime Protection Solutions with the express intention of advising the maritime and port industries how to practically apply the ISPS Code. The International Ship and Port Facility (ISPS) Code was adopted by the International Maritime Organisation on 12th December 2002. It is applicable to passenger ships, including high speed craft, cargo ships of 500 grt and above, mobile offshore drilling units and port facilities serving ships engaged on international voyages.
